Unitarian Universalists are known as the Uncommon Denomination.

We welcome everyone, UUCG is a Welcoming Congregation which reaches out a multicultural welcome embracing all cultural aspects, including, for instance, race and ethnicity, class age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ability, and more.

If you are not familiar with us, why not give us a try some Sunday.

OUR SERVICES

We meet at 10:30 am on the first. second and third Sundays of each month, September through June. The service on the second Sunday is put together by our Social Justice Team. There is also a First Sunday Forum at 9:30 on the first Sunday of each month at which Unitarianism is discussed. A forum on Social Justice issues is generally held at the same time on the second Sunday of the month. We have no services in July and August.

As Unitarian Universalists, we hope developing antiracist, antioppressive, and multicultural habits and skills will lead us to build the multicultural world of beloved community we dream about. This Sunday as we commemorate the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, Rev. Jane will share a little about these hopes and possibilities.

President, R.S.Abbott Racial Unity Institute.
The Mission and ideals of R.S.Abbott, the founding of his newspaper The Defender. An African American man born on St. Simons Island of slave parents. Educated In Chicago. Law degree. then started The Defender that he sent back to the South via conductors on trains to distribute. Also, the multicultural festival at the College of Coastal Georgia in April.
